“Gotta blame it on something…”

Guilty pleasure/karaoke jam making work fly by.

“Losing You” by Solange

I got to see her live last week in a venue where I feared for my life enough to map out two possible escape routes if the balcony that was less than 3 feet above my head began to collapse. The show was high energy and surprisingly concise. Maybe I should go to more Tuesday night concerts.

A track from our debut album Burn The House Down live from LA. Please enjoy and reblog…

“Islands” by the xx

Great, great, great video. I wonder how much time (and patience) it took to complete.

I’m loving Kimbra (the female vocalist on Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know”) right now! Her song “Good Intent” is on my July playlist and it’s one that I find myself skipping tracks to get to on my short commute to and from work.

“Heart Skips A Beat” by Lenka

Panic! at the Disco covering one of my favorite songs—“Valerie” which is originally by The Zutons, but covered famously by Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson.

Morning Parade’s song “Headlights.”

“Never Go Back” by Grace Potter & the Nocturnals

Great video for “Everything Changes” by Eytan and the Embassy—it’s simple, but interesting and fun to watch.

“Shiver Shiver” by Walk the Moon

The Invisible Men remix of Coldplay’s “Princess of China” featuring Rihanna.

I’m digging Ed Sheeran’s “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You” from his new album +. That elevator line may make me chuckle…

Completely forgot that this exists. I’d probably purchase that song on the iTunes.

The “Free on iTunes” section is one of my favorite ways to find new music. This song, “Anna Sun” by Walk the Moon, is one of the recent free downloads. The song is pretty catchy and the video’s fun!

Everything falls to pieces exactly as it should.
