Great cover even if it’s an awkwardly extreme close-up.

Boyce Avenue covers “I’ll Be There For You” by the Rembrandts, which just so happens to be the theme to one of my all-time favorite TV shows, Friends

(part of) Matchbox Twenty covers “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper

Panic! at the Disco covering one of my favorite songs—“Valerie” which is originally by The Zutons, but covered famously by Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson.

A phenomenal cover of a song I love by a band that I’m really digging right now after seeing them live last month. Scars on 45 performing The Cure’s “Friday I’m in Love” is a great song for this weekend!

We’re really proud of this… a cover of Friday I’m in Love by The Cure which we recorded for Billboard in New York last month. Hope you enjoy! Please share!

John Mayer’s version of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on Fire”

John Mayer’s version of Bill Withers’ “Ain’t No Sunshine”

John Mayer’s version of Tom Petty’s “Free Fallin’”

Ed Sheeran performing Oasis’s “Wonderwall.”  I love his voice and can’t wait until his album + comes out next month.

Birdy singing one of my favorite songs by The xx, “Shelter.”

Ingrid Michaelson covering “We Found Love” by Calvin Harris & Rihanna

Lissie performing a cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Go Your Own Way”

You won’t recognize this version of ‘Mama Mia’ thanks to Jasmine Kennedy’s incredible voice. Love YM&C for finds like this.

This is nifty. Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know” covered by Walk Off the Earth.

On the iTunes’ deluxe version of The Fray’s new album, Scars & Stories, the band released 5 cover songs that are more than worth the few extra dollars. Perhaps my favorite is their version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs song “Maps.” The other covers are listed below:

  • “Ready or Not” by The Fugees
  • “Why” by Annie Lennox
  • “Boulder to Birmingham” by & with Emmylou Harris
  • “Streets of Philadelphia” by Bruce Springsteen
Everything falls to pieces exactly as it should.
