It seems like this week is all about my amazing friends! Today’s friendspiration comes from Rebecca Roubion, who I met through our involvement in an extended orientation program. She’s a singer-songwriter who volunteered to write and perform a song to be used for the program about growing and changing through college. It’s one of my favorite songs simply because it’s got so much history behind it.
Since graduating, Rebecca’s moved to Nashville to hopefully make it big in the music industry. She’s got a bit of a Sara Bareilles-Vanessa Carlton vibe and there’s something more there along with her very unique voice. This is a single from her album “A Fine Place to Start.”
Check out her music and see her if she’s performing near you! She also does a phenomenal cover of Coldplay’s “Fix You.”
